Refurbishment Project of the Year for the Isles of Scilly Hospital project at the Healthcare Estates Awards! 

Congratulations to Community 1st Cornwall and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust on winning Refurbishment Project of the Year for the Isles of Scilly Hospital project at the Healthcare Estates Awards! 

As the lead architects, principal designer and health care planner on this outstanding project, everyone at Bluesky is incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing this logistically complex project to life. Designing a project that can be delivered on an island and one of the remotest communities in the UK, all while keeping existing services in operation is no small feat! 

Using off-site construction methods and working in partnership with Premier Modular on a solution that could be safely transported to the island provided some unique design challenges.  

This award is a testament to the dedication, collaboration and commitment shown by the entire design and project delivery team. Working alongside Community 1st Cornwall and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, we helped design an integrated health and social care facility that is a true ‘project of a lifetime’ which is already making a huge impact on the local community.  It’s fantastic to see that achievement recognised on a national stage with this award.  

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this well-deserved success. We couldn’t be prouder of what has been accomplished together.
